EMERGENCY RESPONSE
In the event of a water or sewer emergency, contact the District office at 303-972-2054 for 24-hour emergency response.

The Meadowbrook Water District is responsible for maintenance and operation of the water distribution main. The property owner is responsible for their service line from the water meter to the house, business or structure.

The Meadowbrook Fairview Metropolitan District is responsible for the maintenance and operation of sanitary sewer wastewater collection main. The property owner is responsible for their service line from the main to the house, business or structure

CONSTRUCTION ZONE

Chatfield Avenue Project

Jefferson County is preparing to start Phase II of the of the Chatfield Avenue Improvement project (South Yukon Way to Everett Street). This project will make roadway and drainage improvements along West Chatfield Avenue from South Yukon Way to Everett Street.

In conjunction with Jefferson County project the Meadowbrook Water District and the Meadowbrook Fairview Metropolitan District will be replacing the water and sewer mains in Chatfield Avenue between Carr Street and Estes Street.  The Meadowbrook Water and Meadowbrook Fairview Metropolitan Districts’ portion of the project is scheduled to beginning in May and will take approximately 90 – 120 days to complete. During that time there may be some interruptions of service, whenever possible property owners will be notified of the times of interruption in advanced. But there will be times that an emergency may come up and the Districts will be unable to notify property owners. During the construction process temporary water lines will be installed to various properties to minimize the interruptions. Seventeen properties will have their water meter pits moved in process and they will be notified on an individual basis of this.

The Meadowbrook Water and the Meadowbrook Fairview Metropolitan Districts will be doing their best to minimize any disrupt of services and inconvenience that may occur.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

MAIL IN OR DROP OFF
You can mail your payment in or you can pay your bill at the District office located at 9850 B West Girton Drive during regular business hours, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We also have a drop box at the District office where you can deposit payments of checks or money orders after business hours.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENT WITHDRAWAL
Our Automatic Payment Withdrawal is a service that is offered at no charge. The amount of your water bill will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the 25th of you due date month. You will received a bill at the beginning of the month, giving you time to plan for the withdrawal. Customers can sign up for the service at any time by requesting an "Authorization for Automatic Payment Withdrawal" Form from the District Office.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
Our Credit Card payment service is offered at no charge. We except credit card payments made with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover only.  Visa, MasterCard, and Discover payments can be made by calling the District Office during regular business hours, 9:00 AM to
3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, only.

REBATE PROGRAMS

Rebates are available for residential and commercial customers of the Meadowbrook Water District that are interested in high-efficiency toilets, low flow toilets, clothes washers, and irrigation systems enhancers. These rebates are offered by the Denver Water District and are being extended to Meadowbrook Water District customers. The Rebates are in effect for purchases made between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010. The following are the products that eligible for rebates:

OUTDOORS
Weather-Based Smart Controllers
Rain Sensors
Wireless Rain Sensors
Irrigation Rotary Nozzles

A complete list of eligible models can be found at Denver Water's web-site. The completed forms must be accompanied by a copy of the valid purchase receipt, the "Affidavit of Lawful Presence in the U.S.", and a copy of your ID attached to your completed form. The rebate request form,  affidavit, and complete rules for rebate eligibility are available at http://www.denverwater.org /   Mail the complated rebate request to the Meadowbrook Water District Office within 90 days of the original purchase for authorization and then we will forward your application to Denver Water.  You should receive the rebate from Denver Water within 8-10 weeks.
